Policies

Cal NARPM Policies

“Suitcasing Policy”

CALNARPM has a “zero tolerance” policy regarding “suitcasing,” which is the practice of non-sponsoring/exhibiting companies, affiliates, vendors, or individuals soliciting sales or sales leads or giving sales pitches in the lobbies, and/or representing their services or soliciting Conference participants for conflicting social activities.

Non-sponsoring/exhibiting suppliers participating in the Conference as a speaker are prohibited from soliciting business in the hotel. Violators of this policy will be asked to leave the event, forfeiting their fees, and banned from participating in future Cal-NARPM events.

It is considered “bad-form” and unethical to conduct business outside of your own booth area and/or in the expo hall aisles. Talking to clients or prospects in-front of someone else’s booth is also a violation of CALNARPM policy and will not be tolerated.

Cancellation Policy

ATTENDEE CANCELLATION POLICY
Should an attendee need to cancel their registration for the conference up to 30+ days before the conference date, a full refund will be issued. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the start of the conference, a credit of the amount paid will be issued towards the following year’s conference. No credits or refunds can be offered if cancellation occurs less than 72 hours prior to the event as CalNARPM is required to provide the hotel a guarantee and will incur costs associated with the cancellation.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
If this event is canceled for any reason, the liability of CalNARPM® to the registrant is limited to the return of the registration fee; no further concessions for travel or other associated fees/costs. A necessary rescheduling of the event, as approved by the CalNARPM® Board, does not constitute a cancellation.

COVID Policy & Waiver

The CAL-NARPM is committed to providing a safe, in-person event. All attendees and exhibitors will be asked to agree to the COVID-19 liability waiver during the registration process. A copy of the waiver is below. By attending the CALNARPM Conference you agree to the liability waiver below.

CALNARPM
COVID-19 ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION:
While participating in events held or sponsored by the CALNARPM, consistent with CDC guidelines, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, “social distancing”. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, CALNARPM has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, CALNARPM cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. CALNARPM encourages everyone to get vaccinated and boosted, when eligible. There is risk involved in attending large, crowded, in-person indoor events where the vaccine status of others in attendance may be unknown to the individuals. This risk may be greater for those attending who are not currently be eligible for vaccination or may be immunocompromised and whose vaccine protection may be incomplete.

I acknowledge that I derive personal satisfaction and a benefit by virtue of my participation and/or voluntarism with CALNARPM, and I willingly engage in CALNARPM conference (the “Conference”).
